There is nothing worse than sitting through a boring lecture, except sitting through a boring lecture accompanied by ugly slides. This is one of my pet peeves - poorly though out, illogical, overcrowded presentation slides. Fortunately, for those "design-challenged" folks who don't really know where to start when it comes to improving the look for your slide deck, Google is here to help. Click on the Explore button (small, yellow, compass-style icon) in the bottom righthand corner of your presentation and you will be offered a choice of improved slide layouts which can automatically be applied. It's a quick and easy way to step up your presentation game.
